Life Planning Program- Our life-planning workshops are designed to help survivors of domestic violence to plan the next phase of their life-- life after they leave transitional housing. Developing a solid life-plan while they have the support of a shelter provides survivors the best opportunity to transform their lives. Our life-planning services include:
- Step-by-step instruction and an easy to follow 5, 3 and 1-year interactive planning template designed to help women see, believe and build the future they want for themselves and their children.
- In addition, we conduct workshops for the shelter caregivers. These workshops will provide the same step-by-step instructions along with useful guides that provide on-going mentoring to women in their shelters.
- For women who have taken the initial workshop we offer a refresher course. This abbreviated course is designed to help women sharpen and bring their plans into clear view. But more importantly we will discuss how to turn those plans into action steps that can help make their dreams a reality.
